MacRumors has reported that they are getting hits from iOS 7.1.2 devices on their web servers since last Friday, which suggests that Apple employees are currently testing iOS 7.1.2. This will likely be a minor update with bug fixes and not any new features or improvements.
The activity is low which is normal in the early stages of testing.
We reported earlier today that Apple has acknowledge the iMessage issue which affects users who switch away from the iPhone and has made a statement to Re/code saying “We recently fixed a server-side iMessage bug which was causing an issue for some users, and we have an additional bug fix in a future software update,” so we will likely be seeing the bug fix on iOS 7.1.2. Apple may also include a fix for the email attachment encryption.
