Ming-Chi Kuo a KGI analyst believes that Apple will release Watch models made with new casings other than aluminum, stainless steel, and 18k gold.
According to the analyst, Apple will release 1-3 new versions of the Apple Watch featuring new casing materials and are likely to go into mass productions in 4Q15.
A resent report from WSJ suggests that Apple may use platinum, titanium or even plastic.
Kuo predicts that about 5-6 million Apple Watch units will be sonld in the first half of 2015 and 15-20 million units during 2015. If Apple does in fact include new casing materials the sales could increase for 4Q15 and 1Q16.
