According to a report from Barron’s, institutional investors have put Apple back on the number one spot in its annual ranking of the world’s most respected companies.
Last year Berkshire Hathaway beat Apple and took the number one spot. This year Apple received the highest number of Highly Respect votes and scored 3.94, while Berkshire scored 3.58 and was moved to second place. Boeing ranked third while Google took the number four spot in the list.
Apple has received a number of awards such as ranking number one on the J.D. Powers smartphone satisfaction awards in April and again with their tablets in May, and of course it was rated the most valuable Silicon Valley brand.
