Besides reiterating a call for an updated Apple TV tomorrow, The Verge has some new information on the upcoming iPad processors and configurations:
The third generation iPad which will be unveiled at a media event next week is widely speculated to come with a high resolution Retina Display.
Kevin Ng – developer of iOS game – WordCrasher Blitz didn’t want to wait for the official announcement. He has already created some graphics for his upcoming game – Food Run for iPad 3’s 2048 x 1536 “Retina Display” resolution. He says he wanted to figure out what an iPad 3 Retina Display would mean for his upcoming iOS game.
You’ve heard all the rumors, and now Apple has finally confirmed the details of its next iPad launch event. It will take place on Wednesday, March 7th at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco. The company is keeping things suitably vague beyond that, of course, promising only that it has “something you really have to see. And touch.” You can be sure we’ll be there live to find out exactly what that might be.
Looking at the image in the invite, it appears that Apple is already giving us a sneak peak at the iPad 3’s Retina Display.
