As you might have guessed, this is also the thinnest iPod touch to date, measuring in at 6.1mm and weighing 88 grams (3.1 ounces). On the inside, it packs an A5 chip promising seven times the graphics performance of the last-gen model. The battery is rated for 40 hours of music playback, or eight hours of video. These are instructions on how to dump the SHSH blobs of your current firmware even if Apple is not signing.

For instance, you can dump the SHSH of the current firmware on your device, so long as the device is susceptible to the Limera1n jailbreak (Everything but the iPad 2) Apple does not have to be signing the SHSH in order for you to dump the blob.

*Note the iPod Touch 2G and iPhone 3G will not work since they will always be jailbreakable. The iPad 2 will not work because it is not susceptible to Limera1n. A jailbreak is not needed for this.

NOTE: Those of you who rely on a carrier unlock MUST STAY AWAY from Redsn0w and stock iOS 4.3.2 firmware. Also, the patches for 4.3.2 are said to be broken on this version of Redsn0w. PwnageTool 4.3 with 4.3.2 PwnageTool bundles is the recommended.

For tutorial using a windows computer go HERE:

How to jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 using Redsn0w on Windows and Mac:

Download iOS 4.3.1 (required by Redsn0w 0.9.6 for 4.3.2 jailbreak) for your version of iOS device.

Update/Restore to iOS 4.3.2 firmware using the IPSW file you just downloaded via iTunes 10.2.1.

Start Redsn0w and point it to the official iOS 4.3.1 firmware file (NOT iOS 4.3.2 file).

Step One
Create a folder on your desktop called Pwnage

Download RedSn0w from here and place it in the Pwnage folder. Likewise, download the latest 4.3.1 firmware from below and place it in the same folder.

4.3.1 (4 GSM):Download  iPhone3,1_4.3.1_8G4_Restore.ipsw

Extract the RedSn0w zip file by double clicking it.

Step Two
Connect your iPhone to the computer and launch iTunes.

Select your iPhone from the list of devices on the left. Now hold down Option and click the Restore button. Restore is preferred as it won’t create any wasted space on your iPhone.

Navigate to the Pwnage folder on your desktop and select the 4.3.1 firmware ipsw. Click the Choose button to continue.

Step Three
Once iTunes has finished updating your iPhone to the desired firmware open the Pwnage folder on your desktop and launch the redsn0w application from the redsn0w folder we extracted earlier.

Step Four
Once RedSn0w opens click the Browse button

Step Five
Select the 4.3.1 firmware ipsw we placed in the Pwnage folder on our desktop then click Open.

Step Six
Once the firmware has been verified click the Next button to continue.

Step Seven
RedSn0w will now prepare the jailbreak data

Step Eight
From this window you can select the jailbreak options you would like.

Make sure Cydia is selected and click the Next button to continue

Step Nine
Please plug your iPhone into the computer and make sure its OFF then click the Next button

Step Ten
RedSn0w will now guide you through the steps to get into DFU mode. You can find more help with DFU mode here

Hold down both the Home button and the Power button for 10 seconds.

Release the Power button and continue holding the Home button until RedSn0w detects the device.

Step Eleven
Your iPhone will now reboot

Step Twelve
RedSn0w will then begin uploading the new RAM Disk and Kernel.

Step Thirteen
Once this is complete you will be notified that RedSn0w is done. Click the Finish button. When your iPhone finishes rebooting (5 minutes or so) it will be jailbroken with Cydia on the SpringBoard.

REMEMBER THAT AFTER YOU DONE JAILBREAKING IT YOUR IDIVICE WILL NOT BOOT IT WILL STAY ON THE APPLE LOGO, SO HERE IS WAHT YOU DO, FOLLOW ALL THE STEPS AGAIN BUT ON STEP 8 DO NOT SELECT CYDIA AGAIN JUST SELECT  JUSTBOOT TETHERED RIGHT NOW. AND THAT’S IT BUT EVERY TIME YOU TURN YOUR PHONE OR IPOD OFF YOU WILL HAVE TO DO THAT, TILL A UNTETHERED JAILBREAK IS OUT.

The fifth-generation iPod nano packed video recording, a widescreen display, and video playback. Apple decided to drop these key features in favor of a smaller-form factor, a Multi-Touch display, an iOS-like user interface, and a belt clip for the current, sixth generation model. Now, according to a purported seventh generation iPod nano part from Apple.pro, Apple may be putting the camera back into their popular music player while still keeping the current model’s size and display. As usual, jailbreakers and unlockers should wait before updating to iOS 4.3.1, warns MuscleNerd.

“Unlockers please stay away from today’s iOS 4.3.1! Just to be extra safe, so should future iPad2 jailbreakers (for now)”

“(It’s very unlikely they fixed the bug in comex’s unreleased iPad2 jailbreak, but you never know. Better to wait for confirmation first.)”

We’ll keep you update with more information on iOS 4.3.1 as it becomes available.
