I worked on the Genius Bar for almost two years, and the most difficult issue to solve was short battery life. It was extremely difficult to pinpoint the exact reason why someone’s battery was draining.
I made it my mission to discover the specific reasons for iOS battery drainage. Apple offering refunds for recent in-app purchases if they were made by a minor. This is one of several steps the company has taken in to curb inadvertent in-app purchases by children. The email sent to iTunes account owners gives instruction on how to receive a refund if a purchase inadvertently was made by a minor. You can login to your iTunes account and fill out a form. Apple will process the request and give a refund if necessary.
NPR’s channel, which should be live today, will offer a free stream, 24 hours a day, which mixes live news with segments from pre-recorded shows like “All Things Considered” and “The Diane Rehm Show.” NPR officials say that within weeks, some of the broadcaster’s local stations should begin offering their own channels, with a similar mix of live and taped news.
