Apple updated iMac with 21.5-inch and 27-inch models that have the Intel’s new Haswell processor, faster PCI Express flash storage, better graphics and 802.11ac next-generation Wi-Fi.

From Apple’s press release:

“iMac continues to be the example that proves how beautiful, fast and fun a desktop computer can be,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “Inside its ultra-thin aluminum enclosure, the new iMac has the latest Intel processors, faster graphics, next generation 802.11ac Wi-Fi and faster PCIe flash storage.”

Configurations for the iMac are:

21.5 inch

2.7GHz quad-core Intel Core i5, Intel Iris Pro Graphics, 8GB RAM and 1TB HDD for $1299
2.9GHz quad-core Intel Core i5, NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M with 1GB video memory, 8GB RAM and 1TB HDD for $1499

27 inch

3.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i5, NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M with 1GB video memory, 8GB RAM and 1TB HDD for $1799
3.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i5, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M with 2GB video memory, 8GB RAM and 1TB HDD for $1999
