Hanna Allen,Omnicom Media Group’s head of UK marketing, tweeted Apple’s director of iAd Paul Wrighthas has met with media marketing agencies to discuss iTunes Radio iAd.
Pioneer issued a press release that confirms it will update its firmware for existing in-dash systems. The company will add support for Apple’s new CarPlay tech to existing vehicles. The support will be added to Pioneers five 2014 NEX in-dash multimedia receivers through a firmware update early this summer.
MacRumors discovered new photos posted on Bennett Construction website, the photos are of Apple’s European headquarters located in Cork, Ireland. According to a report from Nikkei, Alpine Electronics a Japanese car audio manufacturer, will start selling standalone aftermarket CarPlay console by the fall. Many car manufacturers will be offering CarPlay equipped cars soon but Alpine will be offering independent CarPlay units that can be installed in current cars.

StreetInsider has reported that according to Jefferies analyst Peter Misek, Apple has been negotiating with carriers on a possible $100 iPhone 6 price increase.
Initial carriers response was “no” they refused to increase the base price form $199 to $299, but since there is a growing interest for the iPhone 6 with bigger screen and there will be no other game changing devices this year carriers are more likely to accept the increase.
