A new research note from KGI suggests that the new iPhone 6 models size difference won’t be the only thing that will set these the two devices apart. The larger 5.5-inch model is expected to support optical image stabilization, while the smaller 4.7-inch model won’t due to constraints in the production of VCM suppliers.

Let me clear this up straight. No, the phone you see in the screenshot is not a jailbroken iPhone 4, but rather a jailbroken iPhone 3GS, running iOS 4.
You must have heard about the buzz going on about the yellow tint / spot on the Retina display of iPhone 4 screen. This could be present anywhere from top left corner of the screen, middle, to lower corners of the screen. This of course is not good, specially because the new Retina display has been hyped like crazy, both by Apple and Press.
After releasing Ultrasn0w 0.93, their software solution to unlock iOS 4 baseband 05.13.04 and also all basebands since iPhone OS 3.0, iPhone Dev Team have just released PwnageTool 4.0.
PwnageTool 4.0 for Mac will allow iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS (old bootrom) users to update and jailbreak their iPhone with iOS 4.
The iPhone dev team has published the following details on their blog about PwnageTool 4.0 so please read it very carefully:
Apple will be releasing iOS 4 tomorrow (or in just a few hours).
Here are some tips to ensure you’re ready for the latest iPhone software update as soon as it is released.
Availability and Compatibility:
iOS 4 will be available as a free upgrade to iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, second and third generation iPod Touch users.
The multitasking feature will be available only to iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and the third-generation iPod Touch (32GB and 64GB models from late 2009) users.
The original iPhone or iPhone 2G and first generation iPod touch aren’t compatible with iOS 4.
MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev Team has reconfirmed that it will be possible to unlock the new baseband (05.13.04) that is included in iOS 4 Golden Master and that it might be possible to also unlock iPhone 4.
Two weeks back iPhone Dev Team had confirmed that they will release tools to unlock iPhone OS 3.1.3 and iPhone OS 4.0 now renamed as iOS 4.
The Golden Master version means that it is the shipping version of the software that developers must use to develop and submit iPhone apps that are compatible with iOS 4.0.
When MuscleNerd was asked a question about unlocking iPhone OS 3.1.3 and baseband 05.12.01 that’s included in it, he responded with the following tweet:
yep…the final 4.0 next week will be an even later version and is confirmed unlockable (possibly iPhone4 too)
iPhone Dev Team had discovered two exploits in iPhone OS 3.1.3 baseband (05.12.01) few months back but had decided to wait until a major version of iOS such as iOS 4 to release their unlocking tools.
When Steve Jobs unveiled iPhone 4 at the WWDC 2010 Keynote address it didn’t come as a big surprise as it was similar to the lost next generation iPhone prototype that Gizmodo had revealed.
But Apple manufacturing its own case for iPhone 4 did come as a surprise.
Apple is calling its iPhone 4 case, a Bumper. The iPhone 4 Bumper goes around the edge of the iPhone 4 and doesn’t cover the back of the iPhone like regular iPhone cases. It comes with metal two-tone colors buttons for volume and power.
Here’s the thing… We just installed the newly released iPhone OS 4.0 beta 3 and found quite a few changes. There are a lot of minor things like how the background of the multitasking interface matches the background in the iPad’s browser, but all of the big new changes are awaiting your perusal after the jump.
