But even though it’s largely down to us to keep tabs on things like battery and data use, there are still plenty of apps out there that can help, and one of the better ones for iOS has just gone free for a limited time.
DataMan is not only incredibly accurate and thorough, but offers a very palatable user interface that remains in-keeping with the overall aesthetic of iOS 7. Once installed, it not only lets you keep track of how much data you’re using, but can also forecast, based upon your activity, how much you will use in the future.Continue reading »

The Harry Potter franchise is one of the most popular of all time. What started off as a few books has spanned a lengthy series of feature films and merchandise. jailbreakComments Off on Download Sn0wbreeze 2.0.1 to Fix iTunes Error 37 on iOS 4.1 Jailbreak
Sn0wbreeze has just been updated to version 2.0.1 to fix iTunes Error 37 which has been problematic for some iPhone 3G users when restoring to the custom firmware file. According to Deon Yeang on Redmond Pie’s facebook page, the error occurs when you are in midway of restoring to the custom cooked firmware using iTunes.
Android port for iPhone 3G is now finally available for download. You can do pretty much everything that you would expect a normal Android phone to do but it is still not recommended for day-to-day regular use. The power management functions of Android for iPhone 3G are yet to be implemented so your phone will only last for an hour or so of Android use before the battery runs out. Yes, it is good only for showing off to your friends that you have Android running on iPhone 3G.
Similar to the Android port for iPhone 2G, you will have both iPhone OS and Android on your device in dual boot setup. Installation instructions are mostly similar to the iPhone 2G one. You will need a jailbroken iPhone to get this to work.
If you are feeling adventurous, you can follow the instructions posted here, or the more detailed ones posted by the dev/hacker himself at the PCWorld site here to get it up and running on your iPhone 3G.
With Android port for iPhone 3G now completed, we can expect a port for iPod touch soon, followed by one for iPhone 3GS and maybe iPad too. [via Linux on the iPhone]

Wi-Fi Sync enables seamless wireless syncing with iTunes, as seen on YouTube and tech blogs across the web.
Run the app on your phone, and it’ll appear in iTunes’ list of connected devices. From there you can sync music, apps, photos, contacts and everything else just as if it were plugged in via USB.
The app is currently compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6, and a Windows version will be available shortly. Download the free Mac software (required) from getwifisync.com
This app is not supported on the iPad.
* Download the program for your computer at http://getwifisync.com/ and install the program to your computer to begin syncing wirelessly
If you like this app I suggest buying it as it has a lot of potential, and for those of you with messed up dock connectors you can now sync. I must also mention this is helpful as what if you lose your sync cable, or your computers usb ports are messed up, you can always use wifi sync.
