The iPad is now eligible for the in-store Reuse & Recycling program at Apple Retail Store locations. Customers could only receive credit for trade-in iPhones and use that credit to buy a new iPhone. Now Apple allows iPhone or iPad trade-in credit to be used on cross products, which means you can now trade-in an eligible iPhone and use the credit towards the purchase of a new iPad. Today is Earth Day and Apple has decorated its stores with green leaves to celebrate and yesterday it released a video titled ‘Better’, narrated by Tim Cook. The company has also taken out a full page print ad in newspapers around the world today, which was first discovered by David McClelland on Twitter. In the ad it reads ‘There are some things we want every company to copy’ and ‘There’s one area where we actually encourage others to imitate us’, perhaps a jab at Samsung? Either way Apple is clearly trying to commit to its green energy plans and environmental sustainability, which is a great thing. Continue reading »

Apple has released a new video for Earth Day called “Better”, in which Apple CEO Tim Cook narrates.
