A Comedy Central app has been released and it features full episodes for free. The app will add new episodes of some shows the day after they air and will not require a cable subscription.
Microsoft releases Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for iPad, and the new release will join the pre-existing OneNote for iPad as Microsoft expands is range of apps tailored to Apple’s iPad.
Realmac announced it will update the Clear to-do app with Reminders and the ability to customize sounds in early April. The update will also include two new sound packs that will be available for free to Clear+ customers via in-app purchase.
Games by independent videos have been widely successful, even in the midst of major developer houses. Prominent among these games is Flappy Bird, which caused quite a sensation for being one of the most addictive games. A new ‘Indie Game Showcase’ section highlights apps by independent developers.
It’s taken much, much longer than we ever expected but three new Photoshop companion apps are now available for the iPad, and by all accounts they’re as good as we’d hoped.
According to Gizmodo’s Jesus Diaz, all three new apps are worth picking up especially when you see the prices involved.
Adobe Eazel is a $5 app that works as a stand-alone paint application and plugs straight into the desktop version of Photoshop. Images are transferred and can have their resolution changed as you so wish.
Adobe Color Lava costs $3 and is expected to be used by creatives who need to make color themes while out and about.
Adobe Nav is just $2 and is basically a remote for Photoshop tools.
All apps are available now via the iOS App Store.

SwirlySpace, developers of popular jailbreak app SwirlyMMS have finally released SwirlyMessage – a jailbreak app that enables iPad 3G users to send and receive MMS.
They were also the first to bring the MMS feature to the jailbroken iPhone before the feature was available in iPhone OS 3.0.
SwirlySpace had given a sneak peak of their iPad app few months back. SwirlyMessage for iPad 3G enables users to send and receive SMS and MMS from their jailbroken iPad 3G, which is currently not possible due to the lack of a Messages application.
