Apple’s iPad selection page for Latin America revealed the iPad 3 will be launching in 13 new countries in that region this Friday, May 11.
Apple released a press statement, announcing that a dozen new countries will able to purchase the new iPad from retail outlets starting this week. From Friday, South Korea, Brunei, Croatia, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malaysia, Panama, St Maarten, Uruguay and Venezuela can finally get their hands on the world’s number one tablet. Next week, on Friday, April 27, Colombia, Estonia, India, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, South Africa and Thailand.
This is the world’s first 24ct gold iPad being offered by London firm Gold & Co.

Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, get that Home button on your iPhone 4S pressed down and give Siri the order to clear your diary for Wednesday March 7th, as previously reliable sources seem to think that it is the day when Apple intends to hold a keynote event and announce the much anticipated iPad 3. If the sources are correct, then that will put it pretty much exactly a year since the current iPad 2 model was announced.
