Times of India has reported that Apple will introduce the iPHone 5c 8GB in India earlier next month for about “Rs 35,000-Rs 37,000 with a buyback offer” which is “about Rs 2,000 cheaper than the 16GB version with a buyback offer”.
Last month Apple launched the 8GB iPhone 5c in the UK, Germany, France, China and Australia, and now the smartphone is available in Belgium, the Czech Republic, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal and Sweden.
Apple has confirmed to Fortune that the 8GB version of the iPhone 5C will be sold in only five markets: U.K., France, Germany, Australia and China.
Keeping the 8GB iPhone 4S in the line-up for those who want a new iPhone but are really strapped for cash is understandable.
