Best Buy is selling $100 iTunes gift cards for just $85 for a limited time.
We reported yesterday that Apple would lunch it’s Back to School promotion today. Qualifying students will get a free gift card with the purchase of a Mac, iPad or iPhone.
According to a source, Apple will begin their annual Back to School promotion tomorrow. They will be offering $100 Mac App Store gift cards with Mac purchases and $50 cards with iPhone and iPad purchases. Apple will of course re-decorate their stores with a new education theme.
Best Buy is having a sale called “Grad Sale” that is going on now through June 21. The sale will give a discount of $50 to any iPad mini with Retina display.
The non-retina Wi-Fi iPad mini is now available for $199 at Target as part of a Father’s Day promotion that ends June 14th. The Retina display Wi-Fi 16GB also has a small discount of $30 which brings the price down from $399 to $369.
As soon as the Thanksgiving turkey has been consumed, many will prepare for the next holiday of sorts, Black Friday. This year it falls on November 25th and will be the day where many retailers go from being in the red, to making a profit for the year and being in the black. On Black Friday morning, stores will open early offering amazing deals to those who were lucky enough to be first in line.
Well now, this is interesting. We’ve been hearing a lot of chatter about Best Buy and the iPad 2, rumors that the company was sitting on a giant pile of tablets ahead of some great event. Well, now we have an interesting tip that says the company will tap into that stock-pile ahead of a big Sunday launch. According to the above image, stores will, in general, have a minimum of three slates each — which in many cases isn’t going to be enough. Good, then, that the company has a guide on how to “minimize customer disappoints.” BBY has earlier said that it is fulfilling reservations first, so if you’re still holding your ticket but not a tablet this might be a good time to give your local big box a ring.
You know what that is, don’t you? That’s right: AT&T’s new $50 smartphone. In an aggressive move targeted at tweenagers still taking mirror-based MySpace profile pics with their Motorola RAZRs, both new and upgrade-eligible existing AT&T customers will be able to get the cut-rate iPhone 3GS starting tomorrow, January 7. According to the PR, the price for phones sold in Apple channels will be determined by — you guessed it — Apple, so bargain shoppers should stick to the AT&T retail outlets. And there you have it — do with the information what you will.
If you are planning to buy an iPhone 4 this festive season and have missed out on some of the earlier deals, here’s one more chance to grab an iPhone 4 at a discounted price.
Sam’s Club is offering a similar deal to the $50 discount offered by Radio Shack a few days go. Engadget reports that according to a leaked memo, Sam’s Club is offering iPhone 4 for only $147 and iPhone 3GS for just $47 with the usual two-year agreement. A 16 GB iPhone 4 would set you back by $199 along with a 2-year AT&T contract. As seen in the screenshot below, the memo also reveals that this offer will be valid only till Christmas day – so you still have some time left to rush and grab this opportunity. However, please note that you should be a Sam’s Club member to take advantage of this offer, which is a paid club with an annual membership fee.
