Susan L. Wagner, Founding Partner and director of BlackRock, has been chosen by Apple to join the board of directors now that former VP of Marketing Bill Campbell retires.
The Wall Street Journal has published a new profile of Tim Cook which gives us information about the CEO’s plans regarding Apple’s Board of Directors.

Beats released its ad called “The Game Before The Game” earlier this month, which promotes the World Cup and of course Apple makes a few cameo appearances as well. Despite Beats promotional ad for the World Cup, players are not allowed to wear Beats headphones in the stadium during the games or during media events according to Reuters.
Apple has revealed the schedule for it’s World Developer Conference. An Apple keynote will take place at Moscone West on Monday, June 2nd from 10am to 12pm. Apple CEO Tim Cook will probably be leading the event with the assistance from SVP’s Craig Federighi and Eddy Cue.
Tim Cooks charity auction hosted by charitybuzz ended today with the final bid of $330,001.
Charitybuzz is hosting an auction to raise $100,000 for the RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights. The winning bid will include lunch with Apple CEO at Apple Headquarters in Cupertino and will last about an hour. The cost of the lunch will be covered, but the travel accommodations won’t be.

Angela Ahrendts announced she was leaving Burberry last October and Apple also announced last year that she would be joining the company this spring. Tim Cook has now confirmed during the earnings conference call that Ahrendts will be joining Apple next week.
