Hanna Allen,Omnicom Media Group’s head of UK marketing, tweeted Apple’s director of iAd Paul Wrighthas has met with media marketing agencies to discuss iTunes Radio iAd.
The United Kingdom will be one of the select markets where Apple’s new iPhone 4 shall be launching on June 24. The launch will also bring the iPhone to two new carriers – T-Mobile UK and 3 UK.
These carriers will join O2, Orange, Vodafone and Tesco to bring Apple’s new iPhone to users in UK.
While the addition of the two new carriers is good news for iPhone users, these subscribers may however have to forego their existing unlimited data plans soon. O2 has announced their latest tariffs that has replaced the existing unlimited data plan with a tiered usage-driven pricing structure.
Heads up! We’ve gotten a ton of tips from our friends across the pond and down under that Apple’s now sending shipment notifications for those who pre-ordered the iPad — both the 3G and WiFi-only models, from what we’ve seen — about one week before that famed May 28 international launch date. Now, before you start thinking you need to take off work a few days earlier, don’t forget that those in the US also got notifications a week before release and still no one got an early present. In other words, just be happy knowing all systems are go and your productivity is still likely to be shot on Wednesday.
